Infor | ManMan

Status: Discontinued

Infor ManMan was one of the earliest and most recognized ERP systems in the late 1970s into the early 1990s. ASK Group was founded by Sandra Kurtzig in 1972 and ManMan was launched in 1978 for Hewlett Packard HP 3000 mini-computers. The original ManMan code originated from the Baan company (now owned by Infor). ManMan was acquired by Computer Associates in 1994 and added to CA’s Interbiz products group which was sold to SSA Global in 2002. SSA in turn sold all of the Interbiz products to Infor in 2006 who owns the product as of late 2016. The last we heard there were still (surprisingly) several dozen companies still using the product despite HP announcing the end of life for HP 3000 in 2006.

Kurtzig is active today in Kenandy, a cloud-based ERP provider with strong ties to Salesforce.com.
