Could a healthy pitching staff, the return of Yan Gomes and Michael Brantley, and the addition of slugger Edwin Encarnacion be enough to get the Indians their first World Series championship since 1948? We certainly hope so and things are looking very good for the Tribe after a surprising season in 2016 where no one thought they had a chance only to witness their tremendous will and determination in a heartbreaking loss to the Chicago Cubs in extra innings of Game 7.
