ERP Consultant Position
ERP Consultant Position
We are looking for experienced consultants who share our passion for using technology to help our clients work efficiently. Candidates should have experience in evaluating business processes and converting requirements into solutions based on best practices utilizing business software solutions.
Duties:
- Analyze customers’ business requirements and configure ERP systems to meet their needs, ensuring a comprehensive solution.
- Participate in all aspects of the implementation process, from initial analysis to configuring the system, conducting acceptance testing, and training clients to use and maintain the system effectively.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization to align requirements with business objectives, gaining a full understanding of current business processes.
- Document business requirements clearly, outlining the actions and outcomes expected from the solution.
- Provide in-depth knowledge of ERP functionalities, evaluating customer business processes against standard capabilities.
- Develop functional specifications, conduct functional analyses, and develop test plans to ensure new or enhanced functions meet client expectations.
- Offer ongoing support and best practice advice to clients post-implementation, enhancing their operational effectiveness.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- BS/BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of consulting experience with ERP software applications, demonstrating a capacity to analyze, understand, and solve complex business problems.
- Exceptional project management skills, capable of managing multidisciplinary projects from inception to completion.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to conduct workshops and training sessions effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a strong ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when necessary.
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution or non-profit consulting is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet the requirements of the role.
