There are many great ERP systems out there that focus exclusively on field service but most have relatively basic accounting (or none at all) and many of them are built on older technologies. Perhaps that’s why there are so many add-on field service applications on the market that integrate to various accounting or ERP systems.

Some field service applications can plug-in to multiple ERP or business applications. Take for example Service Pro by MSI Data which integrates with Sage 100cloud; ServiceTitan that integrates with Sage Intacct; and ViewPoint Vista construction software. Sage has many different accounting and ERP products and there is a field service add-on available for most (if not all) of them. Some of the more popular options include JobOps Field Service, Service Edge, iig Service Management, for Sage 100cloud, SingleSource for Sage 500 ERP, and FieldPoint, Service Titan, and KloudGin for Sage Intacct. Sage offers their own product called Sage Service Operations for construction companies that need field service. This is provided for Sage 100 Contractor and Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate products. Sage CRM development partner Greytrix also offers a field service app that integrates with the CRM system that could be an option for others using Sage ERP products.
Epicor ERP has some basic field service functionality out of the box which is a great start for many companies. There is a more advanced field service module available called Advanced Field Service Management built and designed by Hitachi. There’s another great product available from Evron for field service that could be another option for field service as well.
Most general accounting and ERP business systems can be extended with third party field service applications. Many of these are directly integrated with the core accounting software while others may need to be integrated by a consulting organization.
