QuickBooks is the most popular accounting software in the world – especially in North America where some claim that it has between 85% and 90% of the entry-level accounting market.
You’d think that a product that was so popular would be rock-solid and have few technical issues. But unfortunately issues can and often do occur with any product and QuickBooks isn’t immune to the occasional glitch (or two or three…).
Problems occur primarily for older versions of the software and for desktop editions of QuickBooks that are prone to issues related to hardware, operating systems, and other network and infrastructure issues that may not entirely be the fault of Intuit. Fortunately, there are many great third party tools available on the QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop directories on Apps.com that you may want to consider for management of your accounting data or for integration between QuickBooks and other application databases or external data sources.
