With Jake and Kindra recently purchasing Still Waters they decided to revamp internal processes and look to a new instance of Sage 100 to help with this. This was essentially allowing them to maintain, not grow. The manual work arounds necessary with completed everyday tasks by all employees were error-prone and would not facilitate the growth that the they are looking for.
Impact(s) The impact of these issues was creating unnecessary amounts of extra work on the very lean team. These issues were only going to continue more so to negatively impacting their ability to grow and scale and would not allow them to capitalize on all the upcoming opportunities that will be presenting themselves.
Ideal Situation They wanted enhanced functionality from what they were currently utilizing, a solution with functional offerings that allow them to grow and scale while becoming better efficient. Along with this hosting their new solution for better access, less maintenance and overall a more modern business.
Benefit(s) of Change The team is moving to a much stronger and more efficiently solution with Sage 100 – it will allow for them to better operate across the company now, as well as have options to grow into. Hosting the new solution will allow for quicker access to all functions, and a better overall experience. They were once two companies, and after selling part off they are looking to reimplement Sage 100 for their purpose use.

The team has branched off to be their own separate company, and in doing so they were looking to revamp their dated Sage 100 instance. They currently are using Sage 100 for their core accounting needs, and are looking to get current and back on plan to do so. Given the current instance was so dated, and aligned with another company purchasing a new instance was more advantageous.
Problem(s) There are ongoing issues associated with being years off plan and companies separating and necessary data was not able to be accessed. Impact(s) The impact of these issues were not allowing the company what they needed. On top of this basic accounting functionality was all manual Ideal Situation Being so far off plan was creating more problems than anything. A live and working Sage 100 environment is what was needed.
